Trailer for Denzel Washington's THE EQUALIZER 3 - "Vengeance Meets His Equal"
Sony Pictures has debuted the first trailer for its upcoming action drama thriller The Equalizer 3! Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall, and he is going to fight and brutally kill to protect the people and place that he’s come to love. The guy just wants to retire and live a peaceful life, but he’s once again forced into a situation where he has to unleash his insane fighting and survival skills.
If you enjoyed the first two films in The Equalizer franchise, this trailer is sure to get you hyped up for the new sequel that will serve as the final film in the franchise. Antoine Fuqua is back as the director with a script by Richard Wenk, and this is the synopsis:
Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
The director previously talked about what we can expect from the movie, saying: “Hopefully, reveal a little more about Robert. Yeah, I think that's the key, to learn more about Robert McCall.”
The Equalizer 3 is set to hit theaters on September 1, 2023.
