Trailer for Matt Damon and Casey Affleck's Heist Movie THE INSTIGATORS From Apple TV+
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its heist thriller The Instigators. The film follows two thieves who must go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes wrong, and the movie looks like a blast!
The movie comes from director Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) and it stars Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, who both starred in the Ocean’s trilogy. The trailer teases the film’s fun story, and as you’ll see, it also going to be filled with some big action.
The synopsis reads: “Rory (Damon) and Cobby (Affleck) are reluctant partners: a desperate father and an ex-con thrown together to rob a corrupt politician's ill-gained earnings.
“But when the heist goes wrong, the two find themselves engulfed in a whirlwind of chaos, pursued not only by police but also by backward bureaucrats and vengeful crime bosses.
“Completely out of their depth, they convince Rory’s therapist (Hong Chau) to join their riotous getaway through the city, where they must put aside their differences and work together to evade capture — or worse.”
The movie also stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Paul Walter Hauser, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina and Toby Jones, with Jack Harlow and Ron Perlman.
The Instigators will be released on August 9th.
