Trailer For The Christmas Action Comedy RED ONE Starring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and J.K. Simmons
MGM Studios has released the first trailer for the upcoming Christmas action film Red One, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and J.K. Simmons.
In the film, “After Santa Claus (Simmons) – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security (Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.”
The movie was helmed by Jake Kasdan, the director of the recent Jumanji movies, from a script written by Chris Morgan (Hobbs & Shaw), and it looks like a ridiculous movie that will be fun to watch. As you’ll see, there’s a lot going on.
The film is described as a "fire-breathing X-Mas action movie that completely reinvents the holiday genre."
The movie also stars Kiernan Shipka, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Nick Kroll, with Kristofer Hivju as Krampus, and Bonnie Hunt as Mrs. Claus.
Amazon MGM Studios will release Red One in theaters on November 15th, 2024.
