Trailer for the Fantasy Adventure Film HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON Starring Zachary Levi
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the feature film adaptation of Harold and the Purple Crayon. The film is based on the beloved children’s classic book series by Crockett Johnson, and they have told series that have captivated young readers for decades. The film looks like it’s going to take audiences on a grand imaginative fantasy adventure! It’s could be a really fun movie!
Zachary Levi stars in the film as Harold, and inside of his book, he “can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book’s pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life—and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible. When the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands, it will take all of Harold and his friends’ creativity to save both the real world and his own.”
The movie was directed by Carlos Saldanha, and the rest of the cast includes Lil Rel Howery, Benjamin Bottani, Jemaine Clement, Tanya Reynolds, with Alfred Molina and Zooey Deschanel.
Sony Pictures will release Harold and the Purple Crayon in theaters on August 2nd, 2024.
