Trailer For WELCOME TO WREXHAM Season 4 Sees Rob McElhenney & Ryan Reynolds Face Off with Tom Brady & Birmingham FC

FX has released the first trailer for Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds Welcome to Wrexham Season 4. The series centers on the historic Welsh community football club’s promotion as it enters a tough new division.

Among their new opponents in the new division is Birmingham FC, whose co-owner is Tom Brady. “He’s not playing – thank God,” says Reynolds as the trailer opens, then questions “Is he allowed to play?”

The docuseries follows one of the world’s oldest clubs, Wrexham AFC, but at its heart, it’s also about a town trying to find joy, hope, and pride through the beautiful game.

Since McElhenney and Reynolds bought the Club in 2020, they’ve been on a mission to turn the 5th-tier Red Dragons into a true underdog success story. And they’ve actually been doing it.

Wrexham has climbed its way up into League One, which is their highest standing in two decades. But with progress comes pressure: FX teases “a new level of intensity, competition and costs.”

Season 4 will continue to highlight the Wrexham AFC Women’s Team as they battle it out in the Welsh Adran Premier League, proving their talent on a national level and making their own case for greatness.

Season 4 promises more heart, more humor, and the continued evolution of a club and a town that refuses to stop dreaming.

Season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham kicks off May 15 at 9pm ET/PT, debuting with a double-episode premiere. If you miss it live, Hulu’s got you covered the next day.
