Ryan Reynolds Continues to Campaign for Wesley Snipes to Get a New BLADE Movie
Ryan Reynolds is continuing to express his excitement over Wesley Snipes’ Blade, and campaigning for the actor to to get a fourth Blade movie, which he previously said should be a “Logan-like send-off.”
Snipes starred in three Blade movies, and in the third one, he teamed up with Ryan Reynolds. I remember watching that movie and thinking that Reynolds would make a great Deadpool because he was channeling that energy.
The two actors reunited years later for the massive Marvel movie hit, Deadpool & Wolverine, and it was so much fun to see Blade back on the big screen after all these years!
When recently talking about Snipes’ return to Blade, Reynolds said: “The reaction when @realwesleysnipes enters the movie is the most intense thing l’ve heard in a theater. People screaming with uninhibited joy and love is also the sound of a legacy.”
Yep, that’s what it’s been like every time I’ve watched the movie. Reynolds went on to add: “More Blade please. #DayWalker”
I think fans would love to see more of Wesley Snipes as Blade! I just have no idea if Marvel Studios would actually pull the trigger on a fourth movie as they are trying to get a Blade reboot off the ground with Mahershala Ali. They’ve had a rough time doing that.
