Two New Apocalyptic Motion Posters for HELLBOY
We’ve got a couple motion posters to share with you today for director Neil Marshall and David Harbour’s upcoming Hellboy reboot.
These were released in anticipation of the first trailer for the film, which is supposed to drop online this Thursday, so stay tuned for that! Like most of you, I’m really curious to see some actual footage from this film. For a reboot like Hellboy that footage has to impress because there are still a lot of fans upset that Guillermo del Toro never got to make his third film.
The first motion poster features Hellboy in a more heroic form as he calls down lightning from his Right Hand of Doom.
The second motion poster is basically the same visual in the poster we saw yesterday, but it moves!

The Hellboy reboot also stars Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Milla Jovovich as the Nimue the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio, and Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida, a witch who has decided that the Blood Queen's wrath has gone on for too long. Then there’s Thomas Haden Church, who is playing Lobster Johnson.
Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.
In case you missed it, you can read a description of the trailer that was shown at NYCC here. The first test screening for the Hellboy reboot didn’t really go over well, but the film has since gone through some reshoots.
Hellboy will hit theaters on April 12th, 2019.
