Vanessa Kirby is Reportedly Up For The Role of Catwoman in THE BATMAN
A rumor has surfaced regarding Matt Reeves’ The Batman that I think fans will find interesting. According to GWW, the director is looking at casting Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Hobbs and Shaw) in the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman!
The report says that formal talks haven’t started with the actress yet, but she is being considered for the role. It’ll be interesting to see if anything comes from this! I actually think that Kirby would fit the role puuurrrfectly. She’s not only a talented actress, but she has got the look and has proved that she can kick some ass!
A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Catwoman would be one of four villains that were mentioned as being a part of the Batman story that Reeves was going to tell. The other three included The Penguin, The Riddler, and Firefly.
As of right now, the only actor cast in the film is Robert Pattinson, who will be taking on the role of Batman. The movie will give us a Batman Noir story that will focus on Batman fine tuning his genius detective skills.
