VENOM: THE LAST DANCE Praised by Knull Co-Creators Ryan Stegman and Donny Cates

While I’ve thought that the Venom films have been very mediocre, there are fans out there that have enjoyed the films. As a longtime fan of Venom and a person with a wild imagination, I just know how great these films could’ve and should’ve been.

I can’t say I’m excited about Venom: The Last Dance as I expect it to just be more the same. But, the co-creator of the Venom villain Knull, Ryan Stegman, has taken to X to reveal he’s watched the movie and he loved it.

This is the artist who dreamed up the God of the Symbiotes alongside writer Donny Cates, and he hyped: “I just saw Venom: The Last Dance. It’s wonderful. You guys are gonna lose your minds. KNULL, baby!!!!

Cates previously shared his thoughts, saying: "I've been talking with Sony and I read a script for Venom: The Last Dance, and I’ll say this; it is so much bigger, and so much more ambitious than you can imagine.

“And, um...KNULL. Holy s***. That's how you treat a king. Happy Birthday to me."

So, the creators of Knull were are very happy with how the creative team behind the film handled the story and Knull. We’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves.

In the story, Eddie and Venom find themselves fighting to survive as they are being hunted down by Earth’s military and deadly alien creatures from Venom’s home world.

In The Last Dance, “Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest & most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo is forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.”

The movie is directed by Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey). She also wrote and produced the first two Venom movies. The script of this third film is based on a story that she developed with Hardy.

The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.

Watch the trailer and let us know if you’re excited about this third and possibly final Venom movie with Hardy.

Venom: The Last Dance hits theaters on October 25th.
