Vin Diesel Says GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Will Feature "Alpha Groot"

Vin Diesel recently revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be appearing in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder. The actor has since dropped another piece of interesting info regarding his character in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

During a recent interview with CB, the actor was asked about his character Groot, and this was his response:

"I only have two words about that character and it is 'Alpha Groot.’”

I suspect that “Alpha Groot” means the character has grown into a dominant individual in regards to his behavior and will be a socially aggressive, hyper-masculine character. Groot will have grown into a character who takes charge of a situation. This is definitely going to be a very different version of Groot than we’ve seen before, and I’m excited to see what exactly Gunn is planning for the character.
