Ben Kingsley's WONDER MAN Character Trevor Slattery Loses It During New Interview Clip
In a new promo for the upcoming Marvel series Wonder Man, Ben Kingsley’s character, Trevor Slattery, who we last saw in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, sits down for an interview with TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz for a fictional podcast called “Bad Actors.”
The chat doesn’t last long, as Slattery is focused on his career, and the host keeps asking about the actor’s time in prison. It has an explosive end, and it makes for a fun watch heading into next month’s release of Wonder Man.
The show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the lead role of Simon Williams, a struggling actor trying to make something happen in Hollywood. During a chance encounter with Trevor Slattery, he discovers that legendary filmmaker Von Kovak is rebooting the superhero movie Wonder Man.
With one actor at the beginning of his career and one whose glory days are well behind him, both men chase roles that could change their lives. The series uses their journey to pull back the curtain on the entertainment world in a funny and affectionate way.
