With Knives Out being released on Blu-ray and DVD, director Rian Johnson sat down with Vanity Fair to offer an extensive breakdown of a scene from the film that pretty much involves the entire ensemble cast. It’s the scene in the movie where Ransom (Chris Evans) returns to his family’s house for the reading of his grandfather’s will. This was one of my favorite parts of the movie especially when Ransom gets into it with his family.
He offers some interesting insight into what went into creating this scene and you get a good sense of his directing style and how he likes to do things.
