Watch The Cast of BACK TO THE FUTURE Reunite in Josh Gad's REUNITED APART Web Series
Josh Gad has released the second episode of his nostalgic reunion series Reunited Apart. He already managed to get the cast and creative team of The Goonies together and now he’s done the same thing for Back To The Future! If you’re a fan of this classic 80s film, you’re not going to want to miss this!
Gad managed to bring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson back together. He also got director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale to join in on the fun with Mary Steenburgen, Elisabeth Shue and “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time” songwriter and singer Huey Lewis. Unfortunately, Tom F. Wilson and Crispin Glover didn’t join, but it’s still a fun time!
In the video, the cast and crew share some fun stories from the making of the film along with some interesting insight. Like how there were only nine and a half weeks between when the film wrapped production and when the completed movie was released in theaters. There’s also a great story of how producer Steven Spielberg dealt with a Universal executive who wanted to change the title.
During the conversation, Gad also asked everyone what they would pitch for another Back To The Future sequel. After a few amusing answers, Zemeckis says if there was a good idea for a sequel, they would have already made it.
The video also features the cast and instrumentalists from Broadway’s Back to the Future: The Musical and they awesomely perform “The Power of Love”. Enjoy the reunion!
