Watch The Thrilling Trailer For the Season Finale of THE X-FILES Season 11

The eleventh season of The X-Files is coming to an end. I don't know about you, but I've really enjoyed this latest season of The X-Files. There were some great and fun episodes. FOX has released the trailer for the season finale of the series and it looks like it will be a solid ending to the season as Mulder and Scully try to help their son. It looks like Mulder sees a lot of action in this season finale. The question is, will The X-Files continue after this or will this be the final episode of the series!?

With Gillian Anderson not coming back to the franchise, the future of the show is in limbo. But, creator Chris Carter has said that the series could continue without Gillian:

"I think that certainly The X-Files has more life in it, there are more stories to tell, with Gillian or without. I'm sorry to see her go, I've never actually considered doing this show without her, so is this the end? It's the end of something, I don't know if it's the beginning of something new. But certainly we will have to all put our heads together and figure out where to go from here."

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. In the meantime, fans have one more episode to enjoy before The X-Files Season 11 comes to a close.

The all-new, 10-episode second installment of The X-Files Season 11 is executive-produced by creator Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Mitch Pileggi also returns as FBI Asst. Director Walter Skinner. Additionally, the all-new episodes will feature guest-star appearances by Annabeth Gish, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Karin Konoval, Barbara Hershey, Haley Joel Osment and William B. Davis, who reprises his role as “Cigarette Smoking Man.” Along with Carter, series veteran Glen Morgan serves as an executive producer.

Do you think The X-Files should come to an end or do you hope to see the series continue?
