Will The YOUNG AVENGERS Ever Be Introduced To The MCU? Kevin Feige Explains That He's Planting Seeds For It

We know that Marvel Studios plans on keeping a version of the Avengers team going after Avengers 4, we just don't know what iteration of the Avengers that will be. Some fans have suggested Young Avengers, which is a team of adolescent characters who share connections to the original Avengers team.

It turns out that Marvel Studios might actually be in the early phase of planning to introduce the Young Avengers. During a recent interview with Heroic Hollywood, Feige is asked if Young Avengers could join Runaways and Cloak And Dagger in the MCU and he says, "Well... sure." He then goes on to explain that they are already planting seeds, and one of those seeds includes Scott Lang's daughter Cassie Lang.

"And both of those you just mentioned we talked about for a long time and they went over to be successful TV shows. We’ve always been fans of Power Pack and figuring that out. And yes. So…where and when we would see the evolution of that? I don’t know. And certainly – taking our cue from the comics as we always do – that’s why we wanted Cassie, a very young Cassie in this movie, to be inspired by her father. Just planting seeds.”

We have no idea when or how these Young Avengers characters will be introduced, but there is a rumor that an older teenage version of Cassie Lang will be introduced in Avengers 4. If that turns out to be true, that would be a good way of setting things up for the Young Avengers. One thing is for sure, things are in motion to their eventual live-action debut.

Some of the other Young Avengers team members include Iron Lad, Coat of Arms, Ava Ayala, Hulking, Kate Bishop, Ms. America, Patriot, Prodigy, Speed, Wiccan, and more.
