Wilson Bethel Wants Bullseye to Fight Punisher and Says It Would be "F–king Bananas"

Fans watching Daredevil: Born Again have already been treated to some intense and awesome moments in Season 2, but one matchup is still missing from the chaos, and if you ask Wilson Bethel, he’s hoping that changes soon.

The actor, who brings the deadly precision of Bullseye to life, has his sights set on a future clash with one of Marvel’s most brutal antiheroes, the Punisher.

Season 2 has been delivering big moments, including Episode 4’s tense diner setup where Bullseye manipulates Frank Castle’s name to draw out Wilson Fisk’s task force. It was a slick move, but fans didn’t get the confrontation they might’ve expected. No Bullseye vs Punisher… at least not yet.

That hasn’t stopped Bethel from thinking about what could be. The actor told Collider: “It would be a dream for me to get to shoot a Punisher-Bullseye sequence.

“Hopefully, we do get to do that someday. I think that would be fucking bananas. I think it would be so much fun. Obviously, I knew that that wasn't in the cards for this season, but my fingers are extremely crossed for that in the future.”

It’s hard not to agree. Bullseye’s surgical precision going up against Frank Castle’s all-out war mentality feels like a perfect storm waiting to happen.

Even without that showdown, the show is firing on all cylinders. That same episode also featured a brutal face-off between Bullseye and Kingpin during Fisk’s mayoral fight night event.

Between that and the diner sequence, the episode ended up becoming the highest-rated live-action MCU episode on IMDb. Not bad for a series that’s still building toward even bigger things.

Meanwhile, Frank Castle isn’t exactly sitting on the sidelines. The character is gearing up for his own spotlight in The Punisher: One Last Kill, and he’s also set to jump into the big screen alongside Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. So while he won’t be crossing paths with Daredevil or Bullseye this season, Marvel clearly has plans for him.

With Season 3 already in development, the door is wide open. A Bullseye vs Punisher sequence feels like one of those inevitable collisions the MCU loves to build toward.

New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again are dropping weekly on Disney+, and if Bethel gets his wish, things could get a whole lot more explosive in the near future.
