WOLVERINE 3 Will Start Shooting Early Next Year

I don't know about you, but when it comes to the X-Men franchise, my attention has mostly been locked on the upcoming Deadpool movie and X-Men: Apocalypse. A third Wolverine film has also been in development, but there really hasn't been much news on it because its release is so far away.

Director James Mangold was asked on Twitter when he would start shooting Wolverine 3, and he simply said, “early next year.” The script for the film is currently being written by David James Kelly, and according to Patrick Stewart we might actually see Logan and Professor Xavier team up for some kind of adventure.

At one point after The Wolverine and X-Men: Days of Future Past was released, Hugh Jackman hit a phase where he had his doubts about returning to play the character, but that tune changed recently when he said that he would play Wolverine until he dies.

There's no official title for Wolverine 3 yet, but it's scheduled to be released March 3rd, 2017.
