WONDER WOMAN 1984 Empire Magazine Covers Spotlights Diana Prince Sporting Both Her Warrior Outfits
Empire Magazine has shared a couple of covers for its upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 issue. These covers feature Gal Gadot as Diana Prince sporting her two warrior outfits including the classic and the gold armor.
As a fan of the first movie, I’ve got high hopes for this sequel. The story picks up with Diana Prince as she’s working at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C., and she’s been living a quiet, lonely life since the events of the first movie. But she’s still just trying to help the people who need it.
Producer Charles Roven previously said:
"She has not only had the loss of [Chris Pine’s] Steve Trevor. [but] she’s lost nearly all the people that are important to her because they’re not immortal, and her life is actually quite lonely and spartan. In fact, the only joy that she gets out of it is when she’s actually doing something for people, if she can help those in need."
Things take a strange turn for her when Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) comes back, and she has some new big bad villains to face off with, one of which is Dr. Barbara Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), and the other is Pedro Pascal’s villainous Maxwell Lord.
Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman, Monster) directed the sequel, and the movie is now set to premiere in theaters on August 24th.
