X-MEN '97 Geta a "Previously on X-Men" Trailer That Recaps Original Series Episodes
While we wait for X-Men ‘97 to premiere this week, here’s a “Previously n X-Men” trailer here for you to watch! The new trailer offers fans a recap of some of the key episodes from the original series, which connect to the upcoming episodes of the long-awaited revival.
The hype has been building for this series, especially after all of the positive reactions to the first three episodes started being shared on social media. If you were a fan of the original series, then this revival most likely won’t disappoint.
The revival revisits “the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.”
The series brings back the original voice cast including Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.
Beau DeMayo developed the series as the head writer and executive producer, but he was recently fired from the show. Jake Castorena is the supervising director and Charley Feldman is the supervising producer. X-Men '97 will debut on Disney+ sometime in 2024. Hopefully, we get a trailer soon!
The show begins streaming on Disney+ on March 20th.
