X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Gets Official Comic Book-Style Poster Art

A new piece of poster art has surfaced for the upcoming film X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The poster was done in a comic book style that fans might appreciate.

There aren’t a lot of fans that seem excited about this movie. At this point, most fans seem to just be waiting for Marvel to take over so that they can develop these mutant characters and their stories for the big screen properly.

A trailer for the film was released a couple months ago, which you can watch again here, if you want. I actually liked what I saw in the trailer and I’m hoping for the best, but we’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out. After all, the film has undergone some pretty serious reshoots involving the third act of the film.

With all of the additional work that needs to be done on the film, including the visual effects, the release date was pushed back to June 7th, 2019.

With the movie so far away, we won’t see a big push for marketing for a few months. But, today we do have this poster for you from Brazil Comic Con, so that’ll have to tide you over.

In Dark Phoenix, the X-Men face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling our of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite - not only to save Jean's soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.

Dark Phoenix sees the return of James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Grace, and Alexandra Shipp. Jessica Chastain will be taking on the role of a mysterious villain in the story.

Do you think this movie will be good? Do you think it will be a box office success?
