X-MEN May Become a Disney+ Series Instead of a Film

The finalization of Disney’s acquisition of Fox is looming with reports indicating it can happen as early as the beginning of March, if not sooner. That means that Marvel almost has the rights again for a bunch of properties like X-Men and Fantastic Four.

This has fans thinking and trying to figure out how these properties will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, a new report from We Got This Covered suggests that X-Men won’t be turned into new movies, but rather into a series for Disney+.

In my opinion this makes more sense as there is a wide array of characters in the X-Men that can be better focused on in a series. It is important to note that the report from WGTC did have some errors in it which hurts its credibility.

One of those things is that it says the Disney deal will include the FOX broadcast network but will not include FX, which is not correct. Fox will retain the FOX broadcast network while Disney will end up owning FX.

Do you think X-Men would be a great series, or should it be turned into films?
