Zack Snyder Has Confirmed Work Is Starting on a 300 Spin-Off Series
Zack Snyder has confirmed that he is developing a 300 spinoff series and that work has started on that project.
The filmmaker was asked about the project by Comicbook during an interview. and he responded: "We're just getting ready to dive in and get to work on it.
“It's super fun, I love the world. And even just in the preliminary meetings we've had talking about, like, 'What if this happened or that happened,' just a lot of it's just really fun to like go, wow, it's a rich standard.
“It's similar to this [Twilight of the Gods] in a weird way. As far as there's a lot of underpinnings."
Snyder didn't reveal any details, but it was previously reported that Snyder regained the right to 300: Blood and Ashes, which follows the events of 300: Rise of an Empire.
It was described as an ancient Greek war epic that follows the relationship between Alexander the Great and his second-in-command, Haphaestion.
Snyder previously said of the project: "We got the rights back so we can make if we want it. I don't know what the marketplace is for an incredibly homoerotic, super violent, super sexual movie. But maybe it's perfect."
We don’t know for sure if this is the 300 series project that he’s working on, but it very well could be.
