ZOMBIELAND 2 Adds Luke Wilson To The Cast
Luke Wilson has joined the growing ensemble cast of director Ruben Fleischer’s Zombieland 2. He will join the returning cast of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. She will also be joined by Zoey Deutch (Why Him, Set It Up, Before I Fall), Avan Jogia, Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), and Rosario Dawson (Daredevil). Then there’s Billy Murray and Dan Akyroyd, who might show up as well.
We don’t know anything about the character that Wilson will be playing, but we know that the zombies have evolved into different kinds of monsters. It’s been explained that there are the Homers, a.k.a. the dumb ones, the Hawkings, a.k.a. the smart ones, and Ninjas, a.k.a. the deadly ones.
The new movie will once again put the focus on comic mayhem, taking the quartet from the White House to the American heartland as they face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But, most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

I always enjoyed Luke Wilson in the films that he’s starred in so it’s cool to see him jump on board the Zombieland 2 train!
Zombieland 2 was written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and is scheduled to hit theaters on October 11th, 2019.
