THE LAST AIRBENDER Winter Olympics TV Spot

Paramount Pictures premiered a new TV spot for M. Night Shyamalan's next movie, The Last Airbender during the winter olympics on Saturday. I haven't been a fan of M. Night's work for some time now, but it looks like his next film could end up being pretty cool. I loved the Super Bowl TV spot that aired, that thing completely sold me on the movie, then there was the full trailer for the film that was a lot of fun and showed that the film had some real promise.

This new trailer that was released shows some more new footage that puts more focus on the action sequences in the film. There's no doubt that this film is going to look great and have a lot of action, we can only hope the story that Shyamalan put together is just as strong.

Check out the new trailer for the movie below and let us know what you think!

Official Plot Synopsis:

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film is set in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: Water, Earth, Air and Fire. The Fire Nation is waging a ruthless, oppressive war against the other three nations. The film’s hero, the reluctant young Aang (Noah Ringer), is the “Last Airbender” — the Avatar who, according to prophecy, has the ability to manipulate all of the elements and bring all the nations together. Aided by a protective teenage Waterbender named Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her bull-headed brother Sokka, Aang proceeds on a perilous journey to restore balance to their war-torn world. Dev Patel plays the Fire Nation’s evil prince Zuko. Exiled from the Fire Nation by his father, Zuko is sent to capture the Avatar in order to restore his honor and right to the throne.

The film is set to come out this summer on July 2nd.
