Kathryn Bigelow & Mark Boal's Black-Ops Thriller Fully Financed!

Kathryn Bigelow and MarK Boal's indie black-ops thriller has received full financing and is set to film this summer!

As we reported yesterday, Triple Frontier will then be filmed afterward.  The currently untitled indie thriller is reported ot have a budget of roughly $10m. IM Global did a great job of getting the money needed to shoot the film.

Variety reports that cast and locations to be locked down in the next few weeks and a summer shoot on the calendar. Not much is know about the story at this time. What is knownis that the film is “based on the true story of a U.S. military black ops mission, the ramifications of which are still being felt around the world.” Apparently, Mark Boal ” obtained classified information while researching the project.”

This movie sounds pretty cool, even though not a lot of details are know currently. I loved The Hurt Locker and the way it was filmed. This new thriller is planned to filmed in the same lean and mean manner so that is cool.
