Alec Baldwin in first ROCK OF AGES set photo

Here is the first photo of Alec Baldwin from the set of Rock of Ages. This picture almost never came to be, Baldwin was very close to dropping out of the production before being talked into staying by producers. The above photo was just tweeted by director Adam Shankman. It shows off Russell Brand and Baldwin in full hair metal attire.

The photo came with the following caption "Russell and Alec making my life heaven on #rockofagesmovie." This could be in reference to Warrant's song "Heaven" which is performed by the cast in the original Broadway show that the movie is based on. The films cast also includes, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige and of course Tom Cruise. I am willing to bet Shankman will grace us with more photos, especially with his penchant for tweeting.
