Posters for Francis Ford Coppola's TWIXT

Earlier we shared the first images from Francis Ford Coppola's Twixt and now we have the first poster(s) for the film. Twixt is set to premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival and stars Val Kilmer, Elle Fanning, Bruce Dern, David Paymer and Ben Chaplin.

The film was inspired by the gothic horror writing of Edgar Allen Poe, and it follows a "writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated."

I agree with Venkman when he called this panel at Comic-Con like being on an "acid trip". I would like to add that it feels like a bad acid trip for me. I am not interested in seeing this film in the slightest. It looks overly stylized for my taste. I like films that push boundaries, but this just seems to be too wierd.
