Artist's Rendering of the Rumored New SPIDER-MAN Costume
A rumor has been going around about the look of Spider-Man’s new costume. It was initially compared to the image below that was created by Pietro Scola Di Mambro. We posted an image of this fan art earlier this year because it was a fun and unique design.
Apparently, an inside source shared the image with Latino-Review as a way to show them that this is how the costume would look. This is just a rumor, but if it does turn out to be true, I’m sure there will be some differences from what we are seeing here.
The costume definitely has a homemade look, and BossLogic took this concept design and created his own remix version of it, which is what you see above. It’s a pretty badass look, and very different from anything else that we’ve seen.
Some of the things that we’ve heard about Spider-Man’s new costume up to this point includes the following:
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige already talked about a “homemade” costume look:
“There is a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU. You just don’t know it yet… In Spider-Man’s very specific case, where there have been two retellings of that origin in the last whatever it’s been – [thirteen] years – for us we are going to take it for granted that people know that, and the specifics.”
Then Marvel CCO Joe Quesada said:
"It's awesome, I've seen a lot of design work that's been done on the costume. I think there are elements of it that are really going to blow people away where they are going to go 'Ah, that's Marvel doing Spider-Man."
It will be cool to finally see what this new Spider-Man costume is actually going to look like!
