I've already gone on record saying that Mortal Kombat X looks too violent for me (which a lot of commenters found humorous), but I'm sticking to my guns on this one: even though the series is incorporating some cool elements like Jason Voorhees, I think I'll personally skip this entry when it hits platforms next month.

Still, it's tough to deny that the character designs in the game are pretty awesome, and that the look of these characters - though definitely still influenced by their 90s origins - have evolved into something pretty badass.
