Breathtaking New Trailer for the Disaster Thriller EVEREST
I enjoy hiking and mountain biking, and I've found myself in a few intense situations over the years. I almost met my demise once while spelunking, but I've never done anything like hiking to the top of Everest, and I never will. It's just way too hardcore for me! We have a new trailer for you to watch, and it stirs up the feelings of anxiety in me.
The upcoming film Everest looks amazing. It tells the incredible true story of a group of climbers that made it to the top of the epic mountain, only to be met with an insane challenge of trying to survive as they made their descent.
A featurette for the film was released last week that showed us how director Baltasar Kormákur, his cast, and crew shot on location in Nepal on the foothills of Everest and other locations. It looked like a brutal shoot, but it sure did pay off!
Inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, Everest documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.
The movie has an awesome cast includes Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robin Wright, and Keira Knightley. It's set to be released on September 24th, and it's one that I have to see in IMAX.
