Fan Theory Suggests Diego Luna is Playing Biggs Darklighter in ROGUE ONE
During the Disney live-action film presentation at D23 over the weekend, Lucasfilm released the first photo of the main cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story suited up as the characters they play in the film. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and Donnie Yen.
After the photo was released, fans started to speculate that Luna might be playing Luke Skywalker's friend, Biggs Darklighter. Here's a comparison photo from Twitter.

There is a chance that this could be the case! After all, Biggs did join the Rebel Alliance before Luke came along.
There's a rumor that Jones' character has ties to Boba Fett in the story. It makes sense to me that there would be some ties to certain characters from the original trilogy in this film since it takes place before the events of A New Hope. I would love to see Biggs play a part in this storyline that follows these resistance fighters as they embark on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star from the Empire.
This is all pure speculation right now based on the look of the character. Maybe there were a lot of people back then that looked like Biggs.
