Full Look at Johnny Depp as The Wolf in Disney's INTO THE WOODS - EW Covers

Entertainment Weekly has released a series of magazine covers for an upcoming issue that focuses on Disney's upcoming film Into the Woods. Each of the covers features two characters from the movie, and one of these covers gives us our first good full-frontal look at Johnny Deep as The Wolf. Up until this point, all we've seen of the character is of him hiding behind a tree. I've got to be honest… I wasn't expecting that look for the character. I wasn't expecting to see more of a wolf-like face, but this works! I'm sure all the girls that have a crush on Depp will appreciate that they can see his face.

Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.

The movie is being directed by Rob Marshall, and it also stars James Corden as the Baker, Emily Blunt as the Baker’s Wife, Meryl Streep as the Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Cinderella’s Prince, and Christine Baranski as the Stepmother. It's set to hit theaters on December 25th. In case you missed it, you can watch the trailer for Into the Woods here
