FURIOUS 8 Will Officially Be Directed By F. Gary Gray
A couple of days ago, a report surfaced that directors F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton), Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), and Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) were up for the job of directing Furious 8. There was speculation that Gray would be Universal Pictures' man, and it looks like that actually is the case. The director made the announcement official when he posted the following on his Twitter feed:
Cant ask for better partners than Vin, Neal & Universal. Excited to bring u the next chapter of the #FastFamily saga pic.twitter.com/zRGre14kKO

I loved what the director did with Straight Outta Compton, and it will be interesting to see where he takes the next chapter in the Fast and Furious franchise. Other films he has directed include Law Abiding Citizen, Be Cool, The Italian Job, and Friday, all of which were good! As you can see, the guy has range, and I'm sure he'll give us a new Furious film that fan will enjoy.
Vin Diesel is set to reprise his role in the sequel along with Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson. Jason Statham and Kurt Russell are also expected to return. What do you all think about F. Gary Gray directing Furious 8?
