Suit Up With This MAN OF STEEL-Inspired Medieval Armor

With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice finally coming out next month, it's probably about time to revisit Zack Snyder's 2013 film Man of Steel. I remember really liking the movie at the time, though the whole "Superman unintentionally destroying Metropolis, not going out of his way to save civilian lives, and making out with Lois on a pile of rubble" final act didn't sit very well with me. That's since become the big debate about the Superman reboot, and as much as the filmmakers strangely keep saying that the new movie won't address people's issues with that movie, the trailers indicate that addressing those issues is actually going to be a major part of the plot.

In any case, FashionablyGeek has pointed us to this cool Man of Steel-inspired armor, which was designed by Samuel Lee of Prince Armory. The Kryptonian symbol on the front is seamlessly worked into a leather-constructed recreation of old medieval-style armor, including a helmet that looks like something Lord Zedd from Power Rangers might wear.

If that doesn't do anything for you, check out this insane trailer for Dawn of Justice:
