Will The SPIDER-MAN Reboot Also Feature Miles Morales?
Before Marvel officially announced that Tom Holland would be playing Peter Parker in their new version of Spider-Man in the upcoming films, there were rumors that a different Spider-Man, Miles Morales, might be involved. Turns out, Morales might just show up alongside Parker in the standalone movie.
During an interview with Yahoo, director Jon Watts was asked if there had been any serious discussions about Morales being the main character in the story. He didn't deny that Morales was involved, but his response did hint that maybe there's a chance he could be:
"I can’t talk about that, because, you know, that will reveal too much. We’re still writing the story…we haven’t finished all the way through the story yet, so who knows."
The only way the answer to this question would reveal too much is if that answer was a yes. Saying no would reveal nothing. It's definitely an interesting response. If Morales is going to be included in the movie, it will be interesting to see how they actually incorporate him into the MCU.
