Adam Sandler Gets Therapy From an Alien Spider in Dramatic Trailer For SPACEMAN
Netflix has released a new trailer for Adam Sandler’s upcoming sci-fi film Spaceman. The movie is set in space and Sandler plays a lone astronaut on a research mission that takes him to the edge of the galaxy. While he’s on his mission he is dealing with marital problems and going through some mental issues. As he finds himself in this troubled state, an alien spider creature introduces itself and it looks like it takes him through a heavy and dramatic therapy session. This looks like an interesting and great movie!
Sandler is joined in the movie by Carey Mulligan, Paul Dano, Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini, and the synopsis for the film reads:
“Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.”
The movie was directed by Johan Renck (Chernobyl) and it was written by Colby Day. It’s based on the 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař. Spaceman is executive produced by Ben Ormand, Johan Renck and Barry Bernardi. Producers include Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Michael Parets, Tim Headington, Lia Buman and Max Silva.
The film is set to debut on the streamer on March 1, 2024.
