Delightful New Trailer For Adam Sandler's Animated Lizard Comedy LEO
Netflix has released a full trailer for Adam Sandler’s upcoming coming-of-age animated comedy Leo. The film comes from Happy Madison Productions, and Sandler takes on the role of Leo the Lizard in the movie and this looks like a charming, fun, and delightful movie.
The movie is about the last year of elementary school through the eyes of Leo, who is a class pet. In the story “Jaded 74-year-old lizard Leo (Sandler) has been stuck in the same Florida classroom for decades with his terrarium-mate turtle (Bill Burr). When he learns he only has one year left to live, he plans to escape to experience life on the outside but instead gets caught up in the problems of his anxious students — including an impossibly mean substitute teacher. It ends up being the strangest but most rewarding bucket list ever…”
In this new trailer, we learn that the kids in the class get to take Leo home with them and they learn that he can talk. Over the course of the film Leo is able to help the kids in various ways with his 74 years of wisdom, and they come to love the lizard. It looks like a great feel-good movie.
