Adam Savage Examines the Original Tusken Raider Mask From STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE

Here’s something cool for all you Star Wars fans! This video from Adam Savage’s Tested YouTube page features Savage examining one of the original Tusken Raider masks that were used in George Lucas’s Star Wars: A New Hope. In fact, this is the very first one that pops up on screen in the movie.

He also gets the opportunity to examine an art department maquette of the Space Jockey from Ridley Scott's Alien. Here’s the note that came along with the video:

In the final video from our visit to Propstore's UK headquarters, Adam sits down with Propstore founder and CEO Stephen Lane in his office to examine two of his most prized pieces of filmmaking history. The first is an original Tusken Raider mask from Star Wars--screen matched as the very first one we see on screen that Luke encounters at the beginning of the film! Adam and Stephen also examine an art department maquette of the Space Jockey from Ridley Scott's Alien, screen matched from behind-the-scenes photos as a sculpture worked on by H.R. Giger!

It’d be so awesome to see these props in person!
