Anthony Russo Gives Unhelpful Answer About Hawkeye Missing from INFINITY WAR Promo Material
Fans are becoming extremely curious as to why Hawkeye has not been in any of the promotional material for Avengers: Infinity War. For April Fool’s Day (a holiday that needs to die), fans created a humorous petition to get Marvel to include him in promotional material. Before that, fans made a poster that was just Hawkeye. Rumors are swirling that Hawkeye will bite the bullet, others are saying that the mystery is due to the set photos that showed Jeremy Renner in gear similar to that of Hawkeye’s Ronin persona. The Russo brothers are aware that fans are wondering where this hero is and in a recent interview with Total Film, Anthony Russo gave this response:
“All will be explained when people see the movie. It’s all tied into the story.”
Well if that’s not a helpful answer, I don’t know what is. My money is on the idea of them not wanting to showcase Hawkeye as Ronin quite yet since he seems to be a little changed after the events of Captain America: Civil War. The Russo brothers have talked before about having higher stakes in this film, and there will be losses, I just hope that the Barton family is okay.
