Leaked AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Teaser Brings Shuri, Namor, and the Fantastic Four into Focus

The fourth a teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has leaked online, and it delivers some interesting story beats and confirms a wild crossover that will get Marvel fans talking. Marvel has got to be leaking these on purpose.

The footage opens in a harsh, desert-like environment where Shuri and M’Baku walk side by side, with the Dora Milaje following close behind.

Over this, she delivers a haunting line that sets the emotional tone for what’s coming. "I've lost everyone that matters to me," Shuri can be heard saying. "A King has his duties, to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine."

The setting feels far removed from Wakanda’s lush landscapes, immediately hinting that something has gone wrong or that the nation’s leaders are far from home. Quick flashes tease new looks for Namor and Namora.

The coolest moment comes when King M’Baku introduces himself to a very familiar face. Ben Grimm, better known as The Thing from the Fantastic Four, finally crosses paths with Wakanda on screen.

This is a moment rooted in Marvel history, since Black Panther first appeared in Fantastic Four #52. Seeing Wakandans and Marvel’s First Family share the same cinematic space is pretty exciting.

The teaser closes on a somber but powerful image. Shuri boards a Wakandan ship and performs the iconic Wakanda Forever crossed-arms salute.

The sneak peek wraps up with a promise: "The Wakandans and Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday," followed by another countdown.

There are no huge shock moments here, but the character focus, the historic crossover, and the lingering sense of loss around Shuri raise plenty of questions about where the story is heading and what kind of sacrifices are coming.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on December 18, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.
