AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Report Teases Three Massive Battles Happening at the Same Time
Marvel fans already expect Avengers: Doomsday to be huge, but a new rumor suggests the film could deliver one of the most chaotic and action-packed storylines the MCU has ever attempted.
If the latest scoop is accurate, the movie will feature multiple large-scale battles unfolding simultaneously across different worlds.
We’ve previously heard about the opening clash involving the X-Men and a version of Spider-Man played by Tobey Maguire, a fight rumored to end with the destruction of his universe. Now a new report hints that the film won’t stop there. Instead, the story may explode into three separate conflicts all happening at the same time.
According to scooper MAJESTIC_ucm on X, the scale of the film’s action is going to be massive. They wrote:
“Well, I’m finding out more about [Avengers: Doomsday]. From what I’ve heard, there are three major battles. First, there’s the battle on the X-Men world, where they send Sentinels to attack; these Sentinels are being manipulated by magic.
“Then there’s a fight in New York, where we’ll see many heroes like Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, Hulk, and others fighting against invaders from other worlds.
“Finally, there will be the battle in Latveria. These battles will happen simultaneously.”
If that information holds up, Avengers: Doomsday could be juggling multiple fronts across the multiverse. One of the big showdowns would take place on an X-Men world where Sentinels are unleashed against the mutants.
The twist is that these machines aren’t simply acting on their own. They’re reportedly being controlled through magic, which raises some interesting questions about who’s pulling the strings.
Another battlefield would be right in the heart of New York City. That fight reportedly brings together several familiar heroes including Spider-Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Kate Bishop as they defend the city from invaders arriving from other universes. If true, it sounds like a classic MCU street-level brawl mixed with multiversal chaos.
The third major conflict is rumored to unfold in Latveria, the homeland of Doctor Doom. That setting suggests a huge confrontation between Doom and a lineup that could include the Avengers, the New Avengers, and the Fantastic Four.
The magical manipulation of the Sentinels also sparks speculation about who might be involved on Doom’s side. Both Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange have been rumored to be working with Doom in the story, which could explain the mystical influence over the machines attacking the X-Men.
Of course, scoopers aren’t always completely accurate, so it’s smart to treat these details carefully until Marvel confirms anything. Still, there’s a lot of cool stuff here to think about.
The movie already has a heavy creative team guiding it. The screenplay for Avengers: Doomsday was written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, while Joe Russo and Anthony Russo return to direct.
The film is also set to feature Robert Downey Jr. in a surprising new role as Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom.
Marvel Studios plans to release Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026 as part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If these rumored battles actually make it into the movie, audiences might be in for one of the most ambitious MCU spectacles yet.
