AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Star Robert Downey Jr. Shares New Photos of His Doctor Doom Debut - "New Mask, Same Task"
Marvel Studios recently made the huge announcement that Robert Downey Jr. is set to play Doctor Doom in the next two Avengers films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
This is so crazy and it going to be really interesting to see where they go with this. There are a lot of wild directions that they could take things to tell a great story. After all, Doctor Doom is one of the most complex characters in the Marvel Universe,
We know we’re going to get a great story because Joe and Anthony Russo are also returning to the MCU to direct the two films!
Following the announcement and panel at Comic-Con, Robert Downey Jr. shared some photos teasing his villainous transformation alongside a cryptic message.
Downey Jr. took to Instagram to share a photo of him holding Doom's mask, the actor captioned his post with, "New mask, same task."
As for what that might mean, with this being Doctor Doom, chances are he views himself as a hero and the only one capable of saving the Multiverse!
