THUNDERBOLTS* Clip Features Florence Pugh's Yelena Jumping Off the Second Highest Building in the World

Marvel has released an awesome new clip from their next film, Thunderbolts*, which is headed our way in just a few weeks. It features Florence Pugh’s character, Yelena Belova, in what looks to be the beginning of the film, where she is in a funk- mindlessly working and remembering the loss of her sister.

In the clip, we see Yelena jump off Merdeka 118, the second tallest building in the world after Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

The clip shows the final product, but you can watch a behind-the-scenes video here, to see how the scene was made. In the featurette titled “The Jump,” you can watch how a stunt this dangerous and complex is executed. Disney’s Health and Safety team initially opposed the stunt proposal, but they ultimately approved it after Pugh insisted.

It all looks super awesome, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store in this action-packed flick. Check out the clips below, and watch Thunderbolts* in theaters on May 2, 2025. Have you got your tickets yet?

In the film, “A world without Avengers doesn't mean there's not a group of superheroes. There is a group and they're called the Thunderbolts. A group of supervillains from the MCU are recruited to go on missions for the government.”

The film centers on the characters Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). Lewis Pullman plays “Bob” aka Sentry aka The Void.

Jake Schreier directed the action-packed adventure, with a screenplay from Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo
