Awesome New Trailer For HALO Features Master Chief in Action!

Paramount+ has released a new trailer for the long-awaited live-action series adaptation of Halo. The trailer offers up some awesome and exciting new footage that is sure to get fans excited as we see Master Chief in action as he faces off with The Covenant! This actually looks like it’s going to be a great show! I’m digging the footage that has been released.

The series follows the “epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.” It’s was also previously revealed that the show is set in what is called, the Silver Timeline.

Master Chief is described as Earth’s most advanced warrior and “the only hope of salvation for a civilization pushed to the brink of destruction by the Covenant, an unstoppable alliance of alien worlds committed to the destruction of humanity.”

When recently talking about the story, Master Chief star Pablo Schreiber says, "It takes place very much in the universe that the video games created, but it's a it's a TV show. We get to expand that universe and create stories in it. There's going to be some new characters that are introduced, there's going to be a lot of familiar characters that everyone will know from the game."

When previously talking about the series and the Silver Timeline that it’s set in, Halo franchise creative director Frank O'Connor said, "Basically, we want to use the existing Halo lore, history, canon, and characters wherever they make sense for a linear narrative, but also separate the two distinctly so that we don't invalidate the core canon or do unnatural things to force a first-person video game into an ensemble TV show. The game canon and its extended lore in novels, comics, and other outlets is core, original, and will continue unbroken for as long as we make Halo games."

This series is said to respect the Halo canon and everything in the games, comics, novels, and previously made series was taken into account when developing this story.

The 10-episode Steven Spielberg-produced series is set to premiere on Paramount+ in on March 24th, 2022.
