Awesome New Trailer for STAR WARS: AHSOKA!
I’m so excited to share the new trailer for Star Wars: Ahsoka with you today! This thing is freakin’ awesome, and it’s packed with thrilling and exciting new footage that is going to get fans so pumped up for what this series is going to deliver! I’m so stoked about this series from Dave Filoni, and I have no doubt that he’s going to deliver something special!
As a huge fan of the character Ahsoka, I really want this to be one of the best Star Wars projects made under Disney’s reign over Lucasfilm. I want Filoni to show them all that he’s the one who should be in charge of all things Star Wars.
The official logline reads: “Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
The show will pick up where Star Wars Rebels left off and the search for Ezra Bridger begins. The series is set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka “follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
That threat is Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), who we get a first look at in the trailer, and Ezra took off with him to an unknown location. Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) joins Ahsoka on her journey, and she is still very much dedicated to finding Ezra. They will be joined by Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), the droid, Chopper, and Zeb will also most likely return.
The series also stars Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandi as Ezra, Ray Stevenson as Baylon, and Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati.
The limited series is written by Dave Filoni who executive produces along with Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy.
Ahsoka will debut on Disney+ on August 23, 2023. Bring it!
