Benedict Wong Joins Josh Brolin in Zach Cregger's New Horror Film WEAPONS

Director Zach Cregger (Barbarian) has added a few new members to the cast of his upcoming horror movie Weapons.

Benedict Wong (3 Body Problem), Amy Madigan (Antlers), Austin Abrams (Euphoria), and Cary Christopher (Days of Our Lives) have all signed on to the film.

They join the previously announced cast of Josh Brolin (Dune 2), Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel), and Alden Ehrenreich (Cocaine Bear) in the mysterious movie.

The movie is described as a “multi and inter-related story horror epic centered around witchcraft and missing children.” It’s also said to be “tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson."

There’s not much more information than that other than it will start shooting in mid-May in Atlanta. Weapons will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
