Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett Are Set to Co-Star in IS THIS THING ON
Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett are developing a new movie that they will star in together for Searchlight titled Is This Thing On. Cooper will direct the film from a script that was written by Arnett and Mark Chappell.
The project is early in development, and Arnett turned in a draft of the script before the writer’s strike. Cooper will also work on the script with Arnett and Chappell after the strike comes to an end.
There are no plot details to share on the project, but it’ll be interesting to see what these two talents end up creating together. Apparently, the two actors are close friends, and this is a project that they’re excited about working on together.
Cooper is currently set to star in and direct Maestro, which is a film based on the life of composer Leonard Bernstein. He most recently reprised his role as Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.
Arnett most recently appeared in the documentary SmartLess: On the Road, and is producing Peacock’s upcoming series Twisted Metal. He will co-star in Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins for Searchlight Pictures.
