Bryan Cranston Offers Update on MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE Revival and He Believes It Will Happen

Brian Cranston has been talking about doing a Malcolm in the Middle revival for years. This is a project that he would love to do and he’s been actively working on it. Series star Frankie Muniz previously said: "I know Bryan Cranston is really into the idea and he's kind of heading writing the script and getting everything rolling. So, there might be something. I would be down 100 percent."

During a recent interview with Andy Cohen, Cranston was asked what the odds are on actually getting a Malcolm in the Middle Revival, and this was his response:

"Yes, I would say that on a scale of 1-10, I'd say an 8 that we'll do a reunion, movie or show or something. And yes, we have been working on concepts of story, plots and things like that."

He seemed very apprehensive about saying any more, but if he’s at an 8 out of 10 on this happening, chances are he’s a lot further in the process than he makes it out to be. In a previous interview, the actor said:

"We're talking about it. We all think it would be fun if we get the right idea. Honestly, it would be going much faster if everyone wasn't so annoying."

I would love to see this classic show revived as a film or limited series. It would be a lot of fun to see what these crazy characters are up to after all these years.

Fun fact! My brother and I were extras on Malcolm in the Middle and appeared in a few episodes as high school kids. Those were some fun times!
