Captain Rex and Sabine Wren Reportedly Part of The Ahsoka Tano STAR WARS Spinoff Series
A new report has surfaced regarding the Ahsoka Tano live-action Star Wars spinoff series from Kessel Run Transmissions. They’ve broken a number of big Star Wars news that turned out to be true in the past, and now they are saying that Captain Rex and Sabine Wren will be a part of the Ahsoka series.
Captain Rex and Sabine are also supposed to appear in The Mandalorian Season 2 with Temuera Morrison rumored to be taking on the role of Rex and possibly WWE Superstar Sasha Banks taking on the role of Sabine. That has yet to be confirmed.
It makes complete sense for Ahsoka, Captain Rex, and Sabine to still be together, so this news isn’t really too surprising. Seeing these characters still together is kind of expected by the fans.
Rosario Dawson is taking on the role of Ahsoka and she is expected to show up in some of the other live-action Star Wars shows that are in development as well. It was previously reported that Lucasfilm is developing a slate of interconnected live-action Star Wars shows for Disney+.
The plan is to create a universe where all the shows will be connected with a central storyline. The planned shows that are said to interconnect with each other include The Mandalorian, the Ahsoka Tano series, a Boba Fett series, and an Ezra Bridger and Admiral Thrawn show.
What are your thoughts on Captain Rex and Sabine Wren being a key part of the Ahsoka Tano series?
