Channing Tatum Says AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Will Make “Your Brains Ooze Out of Your Ears”
Marvel fans, you might want to start bracing yourselves because Channing Tatum is saying we’re not ready for what’s coming in Avengers: Doomsday.
At the premiere of Roofman, Tatum teased just how wild things are going to get in the MCU’s next team-up event.
“I don’t know how to describe it to you,” he said. “It’s going to make your brains ooze out of your ears. Like in the way I knew when Blade walks on screen in Deadpool & Wolverine, people are going to physically lose their actual minds. It’s that, but I don’t know, maybe times 50. It’s gonna be one of them things.”
While Tatum kept quiet about specific story details, he doubled down on just how shocking it’s going to be. “As a comic fan, you’re just not ready.”
Tatum will finally make his long-awaited debut as Remy LeBeau/Gambit in Avengers: Doomsday, joining a massive lineup of returning and new heroes.
The star-studded cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor.
It also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and David Harbour as Red Guardian.
We’re not done yet, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
We are still waiting for more casting to be confirmed. Marvel Studios has officially wrapped production on the highly anticipated film, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, with a release date set for December 18, 2026. The follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars, is slated for December 17, 2027.
